Are you looking for ways to take better smartphone photos and videos? Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will demonstrate easy ways to move your photos from Good to Great. We will include tips on shooting (camera handling, photo composition) and suggestions for quick in-phone edits that will greatly improve your photos. Mike will use his iPhone during the class but Android phone users will enjoy and benefit from this valuable class, as well.
The last 15 minutes will be devoted to your questions.
Organizing Your Photos! NEW

How should I organize my Photos? If you are asking that question, many others are, too. Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will suggest ways to address this challenge. A typical family photo collection often includes old photo prints and slides, photos taken with digital cameras, and now the flood of photos taken with smartphones. Yikes! While a single approach won’t address all situations, there are common-sense guidelines that can help all of us.

iOS 26 – Survive & Thrive! NEW

Apple’s new iOS 26 for iPhone is a significant change – many find it mystifying/annoying. Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will pass along tips for surviving the changes. He will offer ways to make the look and feel of iOS 26 more familiar to previous versions. He will also brief the class on how some of the most important apps have changed (e.g. Camera, Photos, Messages). This class will help you survive the changes and will help you use them to your advantage.

Windows 11 – Survive & Thrive! NEW

Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system brings with it some advantages and challenges. This class will be especially helpful to those who are new to Windows 11, having upgraded from Windows 10. Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will show you how to make Windows 11 look and feel more like Windows 10. Some of the significant changes to File Explorer will be covered so you can better understand the new file and folder structure. We will discuss Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud system which is pushed heavily in Windows 11. Experience Windows 11 users will also pick up some helpful tips. The last 15 minutes will be devoted to your questions.
